The Blog...
is a work in progress, and right now serves two primary functions:
1.) To distract me from the vast amount of nothingness going on at my summer intern position.
2.) To jot down the random thoughts/musings/frustrations for cathartic release and my own later reference.
This blog is mostly for my own amusement and organization, though I welcome comments from anyone who happens to stumble upon my nonsense.

I tinker with electronics and have an interest in signal processing. I'm hoping to land a job working with either a telecom or in hardware design after I get my MS next year. I like being outside and active and try to keep myself in shape, however this ebbs and flows with my school and workload.
I also have a lot of thoughts/ideas/opinions on social issues and try to stay at least some what up to date on current events. While I am definitely a nerd, I try to get myself out of the engineering mindset and think about broader topics as well. I have traditionally been very liberal, and still am to some degree, though some of my thoughts can stray pretty far from textbook liberal ideas.
Above all I try to remain as logical as possible and always keep myself open to new and opposing ideas. If my points can be disproven though facts, evidence, and reasoning I am more than willing to reevaluate my ideas.
